A Refined 900 Series Classic

The Yanagisawa A-900U is a refined development of the original A-900, retaining the excellent craftsmanship, precise intonation, and responsive playing character that made the 900 series so highly respected.

Compared with the earlier A-900, the 900U introduced further refinements to the design and ergonomics, while the later A-901 continued the evolution of the series. The A-901 was eventually succeeded by the modern WO1, making the A-900, A-900U, A-901, and WO1 part of an interesting progression through Yanagisawa's professional alto saxophone history.
