Selmer Reference 54 Hummingbird Charlie Parker Edition Alto Saxophone
U.S CUSTOMERS: We'll cover tariffs for your purchase.
To commemorate the 50th anniversary of jazz legend Charlie Parker’s passing, Selmer introduced the Bird Series, named after his iconic nickname, "Bird." Produced between 2005 and 2011, the series featured five unique engravings, each representing a different continent.
This particular horn is a 2005 Reference 54 Hummingbird in mint condition, adorned with a hummingbird engraving symbolizing the Americas. Only 220 collector’s editions and 1,000 standard editions were ever made. This is definitely a valuable investment due to its limited production, with expectations that its price will rise over time. Designed in collaboration with musicians who played the legendary Mark VI, the Reference 54 embodies its classic tone and playability. A truly rare find - don’t miss this opportunity to own a piece of saxophone history! Pads care, keys works, oil up, balance check and all other maintenances are completed by professional contractor, you can use immediately.
This instrument is sold As-Described and cannot be returned unless it arrives in a condition different from how it was described or photographed. Due to the complexity and high cost of international logistics, we do not accept returns. Every saxophone is professionally prepared before shipping, and the consistency of our quality and service is reflected in the testimonials from satisfied U.S. customers.
